Guide for submitting materials to the Eighth Conference 
“Marine Mammals of the Holarctic”

1. Material can be submitted only through the online form at the Conference website: mmc2014spb.com 

2. Materials should consist of the following necessary parts: 
- Names of authors;
- Title;
- Preferable form of presentation (oral, poster, not decided yet);
- Affiliation (place of work), address (City/town, Country);
- Abstract of materials (up to 2000 characters with spaces);
- Complete text of materials (up to 15000 characters with spaces, excluding title, authors list, affiliations, addresses, references, tables and figures);

3. All submitted materials will be peer-reviewed; 

4. The Organizing Committee may reject materials that do not meet the criteria described below; 

5. Deadline for the Materials submission is August 1, 2014. 
Guide for the complete text of materials format
Complete text of materials shall follow the format of previous Conference materials. These include: 
- Text volume should not be exceed 15000 characters with spaces, excluding title, authors names, their affiliations addresses, references, tables and figures;
- Hyphenation should be turned off;
- Tables (maximum 3): Avoid large, complex tables. Please bear in mind that a table should not exceed 15 x 25 cm;
- Figures (maximum 3): Please send black and white or gray scale figures (illustrations) as separate files in .jpg, .tiff, etc[VNB1] formats. If charts are prepared in Excel, please provide the used to build the charts.
